Bulk Cover Crop Seed offered by Soil and Water Conservation District

The local Soil and Water Conservation District is offering to arrange for bulk purchase of cover crop seeds.

Currently they have interest in the following seeds: fava beans, broad beans, buckwheat, cow peas, oats, sunn hemp, ida gold mustard, soil max mix, and oil seed radish. The majority of their requests have been for organic seeds. They will not have the exact price until they determine how many seeds are to be ordered. They are also open to include other types of seeds if there is enough interest.

If you have any interest in participating in this opportunity, please contact Hannah directly at 885-6602 or by email at: Hannah.Conley@hi.nacdnet.net

  1. I’m interestes in buying for about six acres bulk organic cover crop seeds. Mainly sun hemp, oats, cowpeas and mustard. I recently purchased some property above Pepe’ekeo.

    1. Aloha Paul, we are a land-leasing co-operative and do not have any members aggregating to sell at this time. If you send us an email to: farmers@hnhac.org, I will forward your request to individual members to see what we have available.
